Enid man held on $500,000 bond for child sex abuse allegations

ENID, Okla. – A 49-year-old man is accused of sexually abusing two small girls.

Enid Police arrested Ronald Fletcher on two counts of child sexual abuse.

The victims are four and six years old.

When investigators questioned Fletcher, detectives said he confessed to the crimes.

The mother of the victims reported the abuse to police.

Forensic interviews were conducted with the two children.

Fletcher is currently being held at the Garfield County Detention Facility on a bond of $500,000.

HINTON, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a bizarre domestic incident involving a man who shot himself and wounded a retired police officer with the same bullet.

Caddo County Sheriff’s Deputies were first called out to a home near North Vernon & East Elm Street in Hinton, to help the police with a dispute between a man and his wife.

Shortly after arriving the woman left.

Then, the husband started to threaten to shoot at lawmen and turn the gun on himself.

The Sheriff says the man walked out of the house and went up to one of the deputies that he knew and continued to threaten.

The deputy was able to wrestle the suspect to the ground and knock the gun out of his hands.

An Enid man has been arrested for raping a teenager who was at his home babysitting.

Father accused of raping daughter’s babysitter

ENID, Okla. — A 28-year-old father is accused of raping his daughter’s teenage babysitter.

Enid Police arrested Jimmy Petersen and booked him into jail on a count of first-degree rape.

The victim contacted investigators shortly after the incident Tuesday.

According to police, Petersen came home on his lunch break and raped the 17-year-old girl.

Sgt. Dustin Albright said Petersen was arrested a few hours later.

“She said no and eventually she said he shoved her onto the bed and took her pants down and had sexual intercourse with her,” Sgt. Albright said.

When questioned by investigators, Petersen had a different story.

He told police the babysitter wanted to have sex with him and pulled his pants down.

According to police, Petersen claimed that he didn’t want to have sex with the teenager.
