Public meeting scheduled for trails | Community Spirit

Many Americans are trying to get in shape by exercising more and the City of Enid wants to know if residents want new public trails to help in those endeavors.

The city will be hosting a public hearing on Friday, January 27, 2012 regarding trails funding.

The funding would be used to create non-motorized pedestrian and bicycle trails, along with motorized ATV and equestrian trails.

Residents are asked to attend a public meeting to discuss their opinions on the matter.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the city's Administration Building, located at 401 W. Owen K. Garriott.
