Visitors to get a 'taste of northwestern Oklahoma' | Community Spirit

If you are planning ahead for all the great food this holiday season, you will not want to miss this fun and free event.

"A Taste of Northwestern Oklahoma" will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. inside the commons area on the Northwestern Enid campus.

Shoppers will be able to purchase items from small businesses around the area throughout northwest Oklahoma. Organizers say there will be all different kinds of food and food related items. Vendors will be providing samples and will be allowed to either sell items at the event or take orders for items to be picked up or delivered at a later date.

Organizers say the event will allow visitors to get a unique sampling of items along with providing great gift ideas for the holiday. However, no alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the site.

The event is free and open to the public. The event will be held at the Northwestern Enid campus and is located at 2929 E. Randolph, which is at the corner of 30th and Randolph.
